Meet The Residents

Class of 2003

Philip Bolduc, M.D.

Philip was born in Worcester, MA. He received his M.D. from UMass Medical School. Phil has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Brown University and received an award for 4 years of cumulative community service from his years there. His activities included counseling, tutoring, an outdoor leadership program and Habitat for Humanity. He is 75% proficient in American Sign Language and enjoys sports, hiking, reading, banjo, "renewable energy," history and building things. Phil is now a faculty member in our residency program. He is also the Medical Director of our health center's HIV and Hepatitis C programs.

Sherry Graham, M.D.

Sherry was born right next door in Methuen, MA. She earned her M.D. from UMass Medical School, Worcester, MA. She has a B.S. in Biology from Trinity College, Hartford, CT. She volunteered at the UMass "Neighbor Care" program where she painted and repaired the homes of the elderly and economically disadvantaged in the inner city Boston. She’s also volunteered at a free clinic, baked for a soup kitchen and helped a local homeless shelter with transportation needs. She is currently learning Spanish to couple her familiarity with French and Italian. She enjoys traveling, hiking, walking, dancing and yoga. Sherry now practices at Merrimack Valley Hospice in Lawrence, MA.

Amanda Klein, M.D.

Faculty Development Fellowship
at GLFHC 2003 - 2004

Amanda was born in New York City. She received her M.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She has a B.A. in Sociology from Clark University, Worcester, MA. She has volunteered at four free health clinics where she oriented medical students, saw patients and gave health education lectures. She has also volunteered for two emergency shelters, one for battered women and one for women and children. She enjoys hiking, camping, biking, riding horses, gardening, cooking and reading novels. She is learning Spanish. Amanda now practices at Cambridge Health Alliance in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Caitlin O'Donnell, M.D.

Caitlin was born in Laconia, NH. She received her M.D. from the Univ. of Massachusetts Medical School. She has volunteered for several community projects such as giving flu shots to and preparing meals for the homeless. She has also been a volunteer builder with Habitat for Humanity on two occasions. She has a B.S. from Brown University in Biomedical Engineering. She has participated in an introductory Spanish program in Mexico and a "Medical Interviewing in Spanish" course. She has also started to learn American Sign Language. She enjoys running, cross-country skiing, hiking and camping. Caitlin now practices at Health First Family Health Center in Franklin, New Hampshire.

Kristine Parke, M.D.

Kristine was born in Belleville, IL. She received her M.D. from Dartmouth Medical School, Hanover, NH. She has a B.A. in Chemistry from Carleton College, Northfield, MN. She has served as a clinic manager and volunteer coordinator at the local free health clinic. She has also worked as a crisis hotline volunteer for the Women’s Information Services (WISE). She has had the privilege to travel to El Rosario, Honduras twice to work in their clinic and community. She speaks moderate Spanish and enjoys reading, dining with friends, exploring, watching movies, traveling, and making pottery. In the next ten years, she would like to obtain a pilot’s license. Kristine now practices at La Familia Community Health Center,a non-profit community health center in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Jennifer Reidy, M.D.

Jennifer was born in Cleveland, OH. She received her M.D. from the University of Vermont College of Medicine, Burlington, VT. She also has an M.S. in Journalism from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, New York, NY. She has a B.S. in Biology. She has worked as an on-site volunteer at a free clinic in Randolph, VT and at the Litchfield County family court system for a non-profit agency in Torrington, CT which provices counseling, support groups and advocacy to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. She enjoys hiking, snowshoeing, tennis, yoga, traveling, writing, reading, making jewelry and playing with her dog. Jennifer now practices at Merrimack Valley Hospice in Lawrence, MA.

Andrew Schiavoni, M.D.

Andrew was born in South Hampton, NY. He earned his M.D. from Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Yeshiva University, Bronx, NY. He has an M.A. in English Literature from Boston College, Chestnut Hill, MA and a B.A. in English Literature from Holy Cross, Worcester, MA. He was a volunteer for four months with the "Medicins du Monde Medical Mission" in El Salvador. He was involved in research for two months in France which looked at how the French health care system provides care to at-risk populations, particularly illegal immigrants. He speaks French and Spanish and enjoys vegetarian cooking, hiking, camping, baseball and Star Trek: The Next Generation. Andrew now practices at Clinica Campesina, a NHSC site, in Denver, Colorado.

Nancy Weigle, M.D.

Nancy was born in Portsmouth, VA. She received her M.D. from George Washington University School of Medicine, Washington, DC. She has a B.A. in Spanish and Environmental studies from Sweet Briar College, Sweet Briar, VA. She participated in a medical Spanish course at Xochicalco University in Ensenada, Mexico. A significant part of this course included volunteering at a local public hospital and performing medical interviews with residents of a nearby shantytown. She has worked for Volunteers In Service to America (VISTA) as a coordinator of the physician, dental, hospital and pharmaceutical donated services for low-income, uninsured patients in Western Maryland. She speaks and writes Spanish fluently. She enjoys traveling, sailing, hiking, camping and soccer. Nancy now practices at Duke Family Medical Center, in Burlington, North Carolina. She is a family medicine faculty member at the Duke University School of Medicine.

Phi Tran, M.D.

Phi was born in Vietnam and currently lives in Shrewsbury, MA.  He received his MD from the University of Massachusetts Medical School.  He has a BS in Mathematics and Computer Science from Fitchburg State College.  He has work experience as a Mark III operator and as a research assistant.  Phi enjoys volunteering his time at the Worcester Age Center, listening to music and playing table tennis.  Phi is now a faculty member of our residency program.
